Samuel is the name and articles are the game. This is my second year of Clarion, and I hope that it is even better than the last. I had a teacher recommend Clarion to me in my sophomore year, and I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I do. I am really glad I took the risk and joined this class because it has allowed me to improve my writing and to hopefully share some interesting news with the rest of Connersville High School.

As far as activities go, I am the President of our school's National Honor Society and the Vice President of our theatre/Thespians program. I am also a member of Spanish Club and the Academic Teams. Unfortunately, time is running out for me to partake in these activities, but even in my final year of high school, I have no idea what I want to do with my life after graduation. Maybe Clarion can help me figure it out.

Outside of school, I like doing some pretty standard things: listening to music, spending time with my friends, and reading. These are all nice ways for me to wind down at the end of the day. I also am interested in movies and TV shows, with the horror and comedy genres being my personal favorites.

When it comes to the Clarion, I enjoy writing many different types of articles, but I find myself having fun with the "Holiday Humor" section in particular. I have focused a lot on international news and developments surrounding the pandemic as well.

It’s amazing to see so many more people on the Clarion staff this year, and I’m so excited to be working with all of them. I think the Clarion is really going to take off in the next year or two, and I want to contribute to that as much as possible.
