Claire Stinger, Editor

Junior Claire Stinger is ready for the excitement of educating people through her articles this year. Stinger joined The Clarion for her sister, who was an editor last year. It's important to Claire that everyone on the staff works well with one another to help the publication grow.

Stinger's greatest academic weakness is not working well under pressure, and that's mostly because she procrastinates and gets things done last minute. However, English is her greatest academic strength. She enjoys improving her writing and taking the time to create stories that she can be proud of.

One of the biggest things that motivates her is knowing after high school and college she gets to help people learn the art of journalism. Stinger likes talking to others, so she thinks it would be easy for others to talk to and be comfortable asking questions. She expresses her desire for meaningful communication through both her writer's voice and her passionate public speaking.

Stinger's experience combined with her innate writing prowess make her a highly valued member of The Clarion.
