Abbi Stinger, Editor

“Develop enough courage so that you can stand up for yourself and then stand up for someone else” – Maya Angelou

The names Abigail, but YOU can call me Abbi—aka your senior editor. To tell you the truth, as an introverted freshman dropping out of choir and being placed in Clarion, I never thought I would be the editor. Who put me in charge? I don’t know honestly, but I’m glad they did. Clarion has become a part of who I am as much as any other club I’ve accidently fallen in love with.

Although this may come as a shock, I am actually quite involved in school activities. I am a varsity tennis player, a member of class council, and I am also in the French and National Honor Societies. As a senior in high school I am supposed to have my five-year plan mapped out in front of me. Knowing that, I’ve been trying my best to find my passions; as of right now, I plan on becoming an Audiologist, and I can’t wait to see where that path takes me!

Outside of high school, I’m what they call a wannabe gamer, meaning I pretty much play one game one hundred percent of the time— Overwatch. I also write poetry and am interested in photography. If I had to give one fact about me it would be what half this tiny school knows about me, I have been a vegetarian for three years, and yes, I get protein.

If you my readers haven’t noticed, I like writing editorials and political pieces. They are important, relevant, and for sure spark conversations with my classmates. Trust me, I have had my fair share of debates over my articles, but as a journalist you have to take the critiques and roll with the punches.
