GIRLS GYMNASTIC SECTIONALS

The Girls Gymnastics team closed out their season at  sectionals on February 27th to close out their season. Competing against seven schools and two individuals the team came in fourth place scoring 92.950 points overall. The team competed in all four events; vault, bars, beam, and floor. 

Competing in vault was Allison Hoffman in sixteenth scoring 8.450, Delaynne Hall in twenty third scoring 8.150, Kendall Creech in twenty seventh scoring 7.900, and Madison Jordan in thirdith scoring 7.500. With Victoria Metcalfe, Lexi Barr, Karly Tracy, and Shelby Wolski stood by as alternates. 

Competing on bars were Hoffman in twelfth scoring 7.625, Victoria Metcalfe in fourteenth scoring 7.200, Delaynne Hall in sixteenth scoring 7.050, and Jordan in twenty first scoring 6.675. Alternates for bars were Tracy, Barr, and Madison Mullins.

On beam were Hoffman in third scoring 8.600, Jordan in eighteenth scoring 6.900, Creech in twenty sixth scoring 5.850, and Hall in twenty eighth scoring 5.475. Alternates were Payton Orschell, Metcalfe, Tracy, and Barr. 

Doing floor, an event where you do a routine to music mainly consisting of tumbling, was Hoffman in seventh scoring 8.725, Jordan in ninth scoring 8.325, Metcalfe in thirteenth scoring 8.175, and Hall in twenty third scoring 7.700. Alternates were Creech, Orschell, Kaylor McKinney, and Grace Filler. 

Hoffman came in fifth overall with a score of 3.400. Jordan also placed overall, coming in thirteenth with a score of 28.375. 

Most of the ladies finished off their season at sectionals but Hoffman continued on to compete at regionals on March 6. Congratulations on a terrific season.
