Justin Bieber recently came out about his battle with Lyme Disease as well as chronic mono. No one was aware of the situation until articles were recently published confronting the rumors that were spreading about his depression. Many believed that he was struggling with a severe depression, but his documentary will reveal the truth. Lyme disease is a disease that is spread by ticks and causes headaches, fever, and tiredness, which would explain why Bieber had little to no motivation to produce music. However, he was also dealing with chronic mono. Chronic mono causes sore throat as well as fatigue and fever. With both of these combined, Bieber did his best to conceal the situation for as long as possible.

Bieber took to Instagram to confront the situation with screenshots from a TMZ article. Bieber stated “While a lot of people kept saying Justin Bieber looks like … on meth etc. They failed to realize I’ve been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, Not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my skin, brain function, energy, and overall health.” He is working his best to overcome to the situation and hopes to be producing music and touring reguarly as soon as he possibly can.

However, not everyone is belittling Bieber for the sitauation. Bieber’s wife Hailey Baldwin got irritated with people attempting to “downplay the severity of Lyme disease”. Baldwin said “For those who are trying to downplay the severity of Lyme disease, please do your research and listen to the stories of people who have suffered with it for years. Making fun of and belittling a disease you don’t understand is never the way, all it takes is educating yourself.”

Bieber was not recently diagnosed with this disease though. Pictures leaked in 2019 of him looking ill as well as having an I.V. and pink bandage wrapped around his wrist. This immediatly sparked concern among his fans. However, it was dismissed, and fans eventually let it go. Now fans are being supportive of Bieber and understanding as he takes his time to heal and recover from this battle.
