One of the most iconic Star Wars characters, Yoda is known for being full of wisdom and knowledge, and known for being the head master Jedi knight. But just last month, “The Mandalorian”, came out on Disney Plus, with Yoda as one of the main characters, but not in the way we are used to seeing him. Yoda’s character in this TV show is a fifty-year old baby, who never has a word to say.

“The Mandalorian” is set at the fall of the Galactic Empire, as seen in “Return of the Jedi”. It starts out with a bounty hunter who takes an under the table job to kill an unnamed target who is fifty years old. The Child is targeted by other bounty hunters, but every time someone tries to kill him, the Mandalorian protects him, when he was supposed to kill him also.

Baby Yoda’s species ages extremely slow, for he is a toddler at age fifty. In the story line, Yoda’s parents, Yaddle and Yoda, who were Jedi knights, but they committed, “The Sin”, which in Star Wars, the sin is when a Jedi knight falls in love, which they are not supposed to do. Baby Yoda is born with great powers. As shown in the second episode of The Mandalorian is when he is able to levitate a giant monster called a Mud horn.

Baby Yoda has the same kind of powers as another character in Star Wars, Anakin Skywalker, also known as Darth Vader. For both characters, at an early age they both had some kind of power that cannot be explained. Baby Yoda’s popularity has just filled social media, with memes all over the internet about him. It has been said that Baby Yoda is more popular than every presidential candidate for the 2020 elections.
