A CHANGE IN HEART

Megan Steele is the newest special education teacher. This year is her first time as a teacher, but even with her lack of experience, she plans to do her best with her students. With other Special ED teachers in the classroom bringing her under their wing, she will gain lots of experience and wisdom from them.

Steele has a simple goal to start off her school year, “I want to get to know all my students.” Like all teachers, it is a good goal to get to know students to be able  to better engage with them and teach them. Steele did not start off wanting to be a teacher. “I would have liked to be a vet tech,” Steele said, but her daughter inspired her to become a teacher.

Steele’s advice to any of her students is to “do [your] best and follow the rules”. This is great advice to anyone at CHS.
